COMIC Brian Conley was named favourite to win this year’s I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here, ahead of soap stars such as Helen Flanagan and Charlie Brooks.

The line-up was finally confirmed today with boxer David Haye, former Doctor Who Colin Baker and Tory MP Nadine Dorries among the figures heading to the Australian jungle.

But the list contained little in the way of surprises with each of the names leaked days or weeks in advance of the stars arriving down under.

Also taking part are Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor, Birds Of A Feather’s Linda Robson, ex-Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and former darts champ Eric Bristow.

Bookmaker William Hill immediately placed entertainer Conley as favourite at 4/1 to win the show, which comes back to ITV1 on Sunday.

Ex-Coronation Street star Flanagan - who played Rosie Webster - is next most fancied at 9/2, while Albert Square’s Charlie Brooks - famed for her role as Janine Butcher - is 5/1.

Each of the stars will have to cope with life under the TV lens as they spend up to three weeks coping with life in the jungle, cooking, cleaning and carrying out a series of stomach-churning challenges.

Past years have seen the celebrities eating kangaroo testicles, rotten eggs and fish eyes.

The inclusion of Dorries has already caused a furore after she left Westminster to spend possibly several weeks away without telling her party or even her constituency chairman she was taking part.

The party whip has been suspended until she discusses the situation with Conservative chief whip Sir George Young.

She is the outsider to win at 20/1, according to William Hill. The bookmaker’s spokesman Rupert Adams said: “Nadine claims she wants to raise political issues in the jungle, but the likelihood is that her posturing will grate on her campmates and the public in equal measure.
