NO shortage of chutzpah goes into this very visible outdoor promenade play trekking twice daily around the university area and Old Town.

The World’s Greatest Walking Tour of Edinburgh

You can guess how it works from the ironic title – just factor in a bumbling guide, his gormless work experience guy, the intrusions of a rival guide and a mysterious tour inspector.

It’s childishly lame jokes ahoy for the most part, save for when the tour pauses in a dodgy back alley outside a sauna. The fact that puzzled and/or peeved onlookers expressions are the funniest part throughout says a lot.
