REMEMBER those books you read as a kid where you decided the direction or outcome of the plots? Well, this play follows the same pattern. Each of the four stories starts off with a character who is about to step into an elevator.

3.2 Seconds

theSpace @ Surgeons Hall (VENUE 53)

The idea is that whether they take the lift or not determines what happens next. And the audience uses red and green cards to vote on that elevator decision. The Sliding Doors premise is always intriguing but, sadly, the stories here – with the exception of the section about the Dutch teacher – are all on the level of a kids’ book.
