THERE are some promising performances in this ensemble work from RHUL Drama Society, and they’ve hit upon interesting subject matter.

The real-life story of undercover policeman Mark Kennedy, who infiltrated a group of eco-warriors with fairly dramatic consequences, has huge dramatic potential. But it would have been far better served as a piece of straightforward narrative theatre, rather than using a physicality that is beyond the group’s reach.

The odd set-piece works – in particular, the genuinely visceral closing fight scene – but the rest just feels incongruous.
