WE may not have understood it in high school, but anybody five minutes out of teenagedom knows that young heavy metal fans dressed in combats feel pain and need love, too.

Should you have missed that particular life memo, Canadian choreographer Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg is here to bridge the gap between so-called social misfits and the rest of the population. Friedenberg is clearly a very talented performer, and can play a (stereotypical) headbanging male with aplomb. The question is why she does it, and in such a repetitive and annoying manner.
