Eddie Cassidy Scottish Comedian

STRUGGLING to organise the office Christmas party this year? Workmates deeply unimpressed by everything you’ve suggested so far? Then help may be at hand in the shape of Ha Ha Comedy, organisers of the Scottish Comedian of the Year Awards.

Having crowned Glasgow stand-up Eddie Cassidy, left, as this year’s “SCOTY” last Friday, the Ha Ha Team are now offering a chance to win a comedy show for up to 100 people, hosted by Cassidy and some of the acts he pipped to the post. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is visit the Ha Ha website and answer one very (and we mean very) easy question.

I know what you’re thinking: if the comedians aren’t funny, this could turn out to be the worst Christmas party ever and my colleagues will never talk to me again (except perhaps to say: “Hey, remember the Christmas party you organised back in 2012? That was the worst Christmas party ever.”). But don’t worry. Cassidy and his fellow finalists really are some of the finest mirth-meisters in the land, having fought past over 100 other hopefuls to make the 11-man (and woman) final at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket.

Obviously if you enter the Ha Ha prize draw there’s no guarantee you’ll win, so you might want to have a Plan B up your sleeve just in case. Gotta be in it to win it though – see www.hahacomedy.co.uk
