FRANZ Ferdinand front-man Alex Kapranos is set to release a book this summer - and it's not an account of his rock and roll lifestyle.
Sound Bites is a compilation of food columns the Scottish singer has been writing weekly.
As well as restaurant reviews, the forthcoming book will feature new recipes, with illustrations by the band's touring drummer and keyboardist Andrew Knowles, a Glasgow School of Art graduate.
Sound Bites is to be published in the run up to Franz Ferdinand's flurry of summer festival activity, which includes a headline slot at T in the Park.
