New Order for island festival
Electro-pop veterans New Order have been announced as the latest headliners for this year’s Bestival music event.
The 1980s band, famous for Blue Monday, will play the Saturday night headliner slot at the event run by Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank on the Isle of Wight in September.
Original bassist Peter Hook will not perform with New Order, who reformed last year.
Other acts in the line-up include Friendly Fires, Death In Vegas, Daughter, Drums Of Death, Zulu Winter, Django Django and Icelandic chill-rockers Sigur Ros.
