New David Bowie video: The Stars (Are Out Tonight)

Waiting for Video...

DAVID Bowie has unveiled a video for his second single, The Stars (Are Out Tonight), from new album The Next Day,

Starring Bowie and Tilda Swinton, the video depicts the duo as a suburban couple living happily in a small town.

Their idyllic lives are quickly disrupted by the arrival of a rock ‘n’ roll celebrity couple, models Andrej Pejic and Saskia De Brauw.

From then on, the Floria Sigismondo-directed video takes some rather strange twists, including a scene where Pejic prowls over Bowie as he sleeps in bed beside Swinton; later in the video, a manic, wild-eyed Swinton carves up a raw chicken in front of a disturbed Bowie.

The video is the second Bowie has released to promote The Next Day, his first album in 10 years. His first single Where Are We Now?, a melancholy ode to Berlin, was released last month to a mostly positive response.

What do you think of the video? Let us know in the comments section.
