BON Jovi and the Stone Roses have both confirmed huge shows in Glasgow next summer.

The American rockers and the Mancunian icons will be playing at Hampden Park and Glasgow Green respectively.

Bon Jovi’s appearance at the national football stadium on 3 July will be part of a six-date tour of the UK and Ireland.

Meanwhile the Stone Roses show on 15 June is one of just three shows currently confirmed by the band, who reformed earlier this year after a lengthy hiatus.

Fans are in for a treat as the Stone Roses gig will also feature Primal Scream, The View and Jake Bugg.

Tickets for both shows go on sale on Friday with the Bon Jovi briefs costing up to £125 while the Stone Roses show is £55-a-head.

Other major acts already due to appear in Glasgow next year include Biffy Clyro, Girls Aloud and Olivia Newton-John.
