Adele laughs off talk of break from music
SINGING star Adele is still coming to terms with her Grammy Awards wins – but laughed off suggestions that she will take a five-year break from music.
The chart-topping Brit, who landed six prizes at Sunday’s music awards bash in Los Angeles, said the event was “the most incredible night of my life”. In a blog, she wrote that she was swinging between laughter and tears on winning every award she was nominated for in connection with her record-breaking album 21.
She also countered a suggestion that she was planning an extended break from the music world, following comments in a magazine interview. She wrote: “Five years? More like five days.”
