MORE than 10,000 spectators are expected to converge on the streets of Paisley tonight for the start of the Monte Carlo Classic Rally.

Around 70 classic cars will be setting off for the French Riviera from outside the iconic abbey in the town – the only UK starting point for the rally for the third year in a row. Ceremonial cars will head off from 5:45pm, with the first competitors leaving at 6pm.
