MAKING a welcome return to Clydesdale Folk Club this month is one of Scotland’s top performers, JimMalcolm.
Jim has always been a popular guest at the club, playing a mixture of traditional, Burns and his own songs.
His gifted guitar and harmonica playing is the perfect accompaniment to his distinctive vocals.
Although Jim has been mainly known as a solo performer with more than 10 albums to his credit, he spent eight years as lead singer with the already well established Old Blind Dogs.
Clydesdale Folk Club member George Simpson said: “He is a well sought after act, his adventures taking him to all parts of the globe.
“His concerts are always highly entertaining, peppered with funny stories and observations.”
Jim Malcolm will be at the Elphinstone Hotel in Biggar on Thursday, April 30, starting at 8pm.
Entry is priced £8 (£6 members, £2 school age) and can be paid at the door on the night.
