Style doctor: Modern crib for a modern home

Q: My daughter’s baby is due at the end of September and I have promised to buy a crib or moses basket. I am looking for something modern that will fit with their style of furniture.

QWe have just redecorated our daughter’s bedroom and need a new bed. She has just turned 13 and would like something pretty but practical. 
A double bed would just fit in her room, but doesn’t leave much space around and might look too bulky?
