Lost Edinburgh: Princes Street Gardens

Princes Street Gardens has experienced subtle changes over the years but the famous pathway is easily recognisable despite the passage of time.

A handrail has been added for walkers’ safety and the now-mature trees offer a respite from the hustle and bustle of Princes Street.

Thanks to Lost Edinburgh we can get just a glimse of life as it was then.
