Council planning to use more Gaelic

Highland Council aims to “radically and positively change” the way it implements Gaelic policies – and plans to integrate the language in all council departments.

The authority’s new Gaelic implementation group met for the first time yesterday to discuss plans.

The SNP’s Gaelic spokesman Alex MacLeod, said: “This is an exciting time for Gaelic.”
