Neverendum

In a letter to your newspaper long before the referendum, I made the point that it was a waste of time and money unless it was stipulated in law that anther could not be held for 30, preferably 50, years after the first.

I lay no claim to seeing into the future but the present situation with regard to a second referendum was as predictable as night follows day.

In the same way as the French separatists in Canada, an example I mentioned in my letter, it would appear that the SNP will not accept any result, no matter how clear, that does not allow them to win.
