In the world of celebrity it’s certainly not been a quiet week. There have been engagements and bust-ups, drama and make-ups.

Brad and Angelina engagement

After seven years together and six children, many say it’s about time Brad and Angelina tied the knot. However, others were shocked as ‘Brangelina’ always vowed they would not marry until gay marriage was legalised across the US. Deviating from this plan, Brad says the kids were desperate for him to buy their ‘mom’ a ring so guess there was no choice then.

Tulisa Constovalos, X factor judge and N-Dubz singer, was voted sexiest woman in the world by FHM readers. The star said “it was the most self-indulgent award she’s ever won.” However, talk on social networking sites showed that many were confused as to how the star could be ranked higher than the likes of Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba.

Kelly Rowland exits X Factor

The singer confirmed she would not be returning to the show due to its high demands.

But rumours are circulating that Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato could be the next judges on X factor USA. Although no formal offer has been made, Simon Cowell is said to be pursuing them both for the next season now that Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul have been axed.

He revealed that the Queen Mother blamed Wallis Simpson for King George’s premature death. Apparently, Kyle’s father, who was the Queen Mother’s personal secretary, said the Queen Mother believed if George hadn’t had to take the throne due to his brother’s abdication he’d have lived longer.

Ashton Kutcher’s Popchip advert banned

The ad, released earlier this week, featured Kutcher dressed as a lonely Indian man with brown make-up and an Indian accent. After an outcry over the racist nature it has been pulled off air.

Pete Docherty’s blood paintings

The Babyshambles singer creates artwork by inserting his own blood in a syringe and squirting it over canvas. His masterpieces will be auctioned off along with other personal items.
