What is it? Hergé’s boy adventurer is brought to lavish life by Steven Spielberg, with the help of a cast including Jamie Bell and Andy Serkis.

What we said: “This gorgeously rendered motion capture 3D bells-and-whistles Tintin seems to have reinvigorated Spielberg’s spirit of adventure – the director hasn’t seemed quite so giddy and dashing since Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade.”

Extras: Numerous making-of documentaries featuring interviews with all involved, including one devoted to Snowy the dog.
