TWO of Scotland’s most eminent designers have been nominated for British Fashion Awards.
Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders will both be in contention amongst the cream of the UK fashion industry at this year’s ceremony.
Jonathan Saunders is up against Agi & Sam and Lou Dalton for the Emerging Talent Award-Menswear, which recognises a growing, influential force in British Menswear Design.
He will also compete with Erdem and Meadham Kirchhoff for The New Establishment Award, introduced in 2011, to recognise the designer who is currently making a movement in British fashion and gaining critical acclaim on a global scale.
Christopher Kane will be battling fellow nominees Stella McCartney and Mary Katrantzou for the highest accolade of the awards - Designer of the Year, which recognises an internationally acclaimed, leading designer of British fashion.
The awards will take place on November 27 at London’s Savoy Hotel.
