My life in clothes: Yasmin, DJ and singer-songwriter

What’s the last piece of clothing you bought? A catsuit, printed with an image of Bob Marley, which I found at a market.

Best ever bargain? A pair of nude Kurt Geiger wedges I got in a sale – they go with everything.

Who has great style? I love Chloë Sevigny’s vintage style and I think Diane Kruger always gets it right on the red carpet.

Name your favourite high street shop. Urban Outfitters. I love the designer capsule collections, the independent designers and the vintage stuff.

What are you addicted to buying? I have a hard time spending £300 or more on just one item. So, when I want to treat myself, I buy a pair of designer sunglasses as they usually come in around the £250 mark. I have pairs by Prada, Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about? I wore a tropical print jumpsuit to the MTV awards in Belfast. I loved it but a few people said I looked like a pair of curtains.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe? My own collection. My favourite is a pair of crucifix stencil earrings.
