Jonathan Daniel Pryce’s ‘100 Beards - 100 Days’ exhibition hits Scotland

Waiting for Video...

SCOTTISH fashion and lifestyle photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce’s latest project ‘100 Beards - 100 Days’ opened yesterday at Ruffians Barber Shop in Edinburgh.

Jonathan was crowned ‘Scottish Fashion Photographer of the Year’ at this year’s Scottish Fashion Awards, his latest venture documents the re-emergence of the beard as the ultimate accessory for the modern gentleman.

Jonathan scoured the streets of London for 100 days, photographing one man and his beard on each of those days. The aim was not to find the trendiest or best looking facial hair but to express the growing trend of the beard.

The exhibition - which opened yesterday - covers all colours, cultures, creeds and styles and takes place at one of Edinburgh’s most well renowned barber shops.

Andrew Cannnon of Ruffians Barber Shop said: “We’re proud, as a Scottish company, and to support and exhibit Scotland’s premier emerging lifestyle photographer, is a real delight for us. Jonathan’s outlook on design and style is closely aligned with our values at Ruffians, we believe our customers and followers will thoroughly appreciate his skill, shown through his ‘100 Beards - 100 Days’ exhibition.”

• The exhibition is free of charge and runs until Sunday 6 January at Ruffians Barber Shop on Queensferry Street, Edinburgh
