In pictures: Raf Simons’s first show for Dior

Raf Simons made his debut as Christian Dior’s new designer as haute couture week got under way in Paris yesterday.

He is only their fifth designer since Christian Dior founded the company in 1946.

The anticipation was evident in the front row, which included Marc Jacobs, Donatella Versace, Pierre Cardin, Riccardo Tisci and Diane von Furstenberg.
