CONCERT: THE CHARLATANS

90s band The Charlatans are back on tour to celebrate their twentieth anniversary. Expect a deluge of classics, including The Only One I Know, One to Another and North Country Boy.

THEATRE: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

The classic French fairytale is getting a pantomime makeover. Popularised by Disney, the show follows Belle, a young woman who has swapped her freedom for her father’s. The charming prince has been turned into the titular east and must convince Belle to fall in love with him before time runs out.

EVENT: TIM PEAKE LAUNCH

As Tim Peake lifts off to the International Space Station, the Dundee Science Centre are putting on a one-night event, exploring what life on the station might be like. Talks will be given from space experts as they explore the night sky.

What has The Hoff got in common with The Krankies? Their love of extravagant panto, apparently. David Hasselhoff stars as Captain James Hook at the SECC in Glasgow. Boasting spectacular 3D effects, panto doesn’t get more blockbuster than this.

COMEDY: THE STAND CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

A surefire way to fill you with Christmas cheer as one of Scotland’s top comedy clubs puts on a festive special. Host Joe Heenan will be joined on stage by Zoe Lyons, Mark Nelson, Keir McAllister and Ashley Storrie for a night of festive fun.
