Originally from Aberdeen, Sarah J Stanley is currently making an impact with her electronica project HQFU.

A multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer, her self-titled debut album was released last month, securing lots of media support,
most notably a live session on Vic Galloway’s BBC Radio Scotland show.

HQFU’s sound is rooted in house and electro, combining live vocals, dreamy melodies, synthesisers, beats and bleeps. She performs live on Thursday as part of Hidden Door Festival in Edinburgh, Friday at Brew At The Bog near Inverness, 10 June during the West End Festival at the Hug And Pint in Glasgow and Doune The Rabbit Hole in August.

She also joins previous Scottish Album of the Year Award winner RM Hubbert on tour next month (www.facebook.com/rmhubbert). Listen at: https://hqfu.bandcamp.com/album/hqfu
