STARS lined the red carpet at the world-famous Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of ‘The Past’.
The new film from Oscar-winning director Asghar Farhadi sees the Iranian director team up with Berenice Bejo.
Bejo was one of the one of the stars of 2012 Best Picture winner The Artist, and also voiced Merida in the French re-dub of Pixar’s Scottish animation Brave.
‘The Past’ is competing for the Palme d’Or, the top prize at the prestigious festival.
The prize is selected by a jury of eminent filmmakers including Scotland’s Lynn Ramsay, and headed by Jurassic Park director Stephen Spielberg.
The festival continues until May 26.
