A rare painting by a Glaswegian artist is returning to the city after 120 years.

The oil on canvas, Siblings Feeding Rabbits, by David Fulton (1848-1930) was transported to Germany for the Munich International Exhibition in 1894 and remained overseas afterwards.

Valued at between £8,000 and £12,000, it is one of the top lots in McTear’s Scottish pictures auction on 14 February.
