DAVID Shaw has his hands full as he manoeuvres a giant wandering albatross into the Glasgow Museum Resource Centre yesterday.

The albatross, which at three metres has the longest wingspan of any bird, comes from Bird Island in South Georgia, near the Falklands. It will be held at the centre before going on display at the Life Gallery in Kelvingrove Museum early in the new year.
