This is a reasonable pop record that has had all the personality produced right out of it.

When the National Treasure attempts to get urban on Better To Lie, it has all the street credibility of a cul-de-sac, and she sings Let's Get Down with all the enthusiasm of a lift attendant announcing the descent to the basement.

She's better on the obvious pop melodies of Live Tonight, while the hushed tuneful tones of Raindrops have a hint of vibrato that suggests Nashville might be more of a natural musical home in the future.

Sadly her inevitable destination will surely be California, to embrace the superficial.
