Sun shines on T in the Park 2009
THE sun continued to shine on the second day of music at T in the Park as revellers were treated to a host of big name bands.
A crowd of 85,000 flocked to Balado this morning hoping to enjoy a diverse line-up which featured Nine Inch Nails, Lady Gaga, The Specials and the Manic Street Preachers.
Highlights of the festival so far include Lady GaGa's eccentric performance and a nostalgic show from Abba tribute act Bjorn Again.
American pop star Lady GaGa re-appeared halfway through her set on a motorbike in revealing shorts.
Calvin Harris also impressed on the main stage with an energetic performance that put this year's T in the Park crowd in the mood early on.
The Horrors unexpectedly cancelled their appearance at this year's festival.
It has been widely speculated that the the London-based band pulled out due to a band member falling ill.
Police have reported a positive atmosphere at the festival, with 42 arrests recorded so far.
Tayside constabulary have also issued an appeal for information after a youth was knocked down and killed near the entrance to the T in the Park festival on Friday evening.
