Book review: Picture Perfect
Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult is published by Hodder and Stoughton, priced £14.99.
Cassie Barrett wakes up in a graveyard in LA suffering from amnesia and is rescued by Will Flying Horse, a police officer who has just moved to the city.
After placing her picture in the newspaper, he finds out that Cassie is not only an anthropologist, but is married to Hollywood icon Alex Rivers.
As Cassie tries to settle into her old life, she begins to realise that it is far from a romantic fairytale.
When she discovers she is pregnant, she flees her glamorous lifestyle with Will and goes to live in South Dakota with his grandparents.
American writer Jodi Picoult's psychological plot is riveting as the reader is given an insight into domestic abuse.
