THE new Hydro arena in Glasgow was lit up in bright pink last night as part of a fundraising drive for a breast cancer charity.

Breast Cancer Campaign’s fundraising event wear it pink encourages members of the public to wear pink clothes to work in exchange for sponsorships.

Other buildings across the UK, including Windsor Castle and Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, were also bathed in pink light.

The wear it pink event takes place tomorrow, Friday 25 October.
