DUE to popular demand, Tim Minchin has added an additional performance of his 2008 Fringe show, Ready For This?, at the Pleasance tonight 11.30pm.
Be warned, if you are looking for a good old fashioned stand-up comedian who delivers rib-ticklin' one-liners without resorting to foul language, the 2005 Perrier Best Newcomer is NOT your man.
Runaway actor has bone to pick with Cannibal
NOW it can be told. Disaster nearly struck on the opening night of Cannibal! The Musical, at George Square Theatre, when one of the cast decided to "run away". Director Frazer Brown said, "We knocked on the actor's door an hour before curtain up and discovered he had vanished, leaving only a script and the keys to the flat. He cited artistic differences." Step forward executive producer Jason McHugh to save the day. McHugh, who appeared in the original film of the show but hadn't performed on a stage since 1986, by all accounts made the role his own.
