A WOMAN who claimed that former Death Row prisoner Kenny Richey had held a knife to her throat has been charged with wasting police time.
Kimberley Lee, 27, had alleged that Richey, 43, had held a blade to her throat after accusing her of stealing his wallet.

However, she later retracted the claims when Lothian and Borders Police asked her to make an official statement.

A police spokesman said: "A 27-year-old woman was charged on June 25 and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal."
