Published Date: 28 August 2008
ALMOST half of women have had unprotected sex or had their usual contraception fail in the past year, a survey suggested today.
The poll of 1,156 UK women aged 18 to 35 found that 44 per cent had had unprotected sex or a failed condom, missed a pill or had sickness or medication that could have stopped the pill working.

Of these women, almost two-thirds (61 per cent), said that they had not taken any steps to avoid an unplanned pregnancy.

"Of these women, almost two-thirds (61 per cent), said that they had not taken any steps to avoid an unplanned pregnancy."

Guga II ~1,

Agree it could be, but "Pregnancy scare for 44%", or,..

'Finding out Pregnant for 44%',?

Sketchy article Scotsman News!

What 'Maddens' me this is contrived, to be a Woman's Problem!

Sextist!! Put Blame on the Woman Again!

And I thought contraception was meant to free women! Instead they are held captive to fear.

Another reason folks why contraception is not the answer.

Quite unusual to have an article that doesn't blame men.
