Diabetes trial in spotlight

PEOPLE living with type-one diabetes are to hear how a crucial trial is progressing at a conference in the city.
Experts will hold a lecture on how the development of an artificial pancreas is coming along, as well as discussing other potential treatments.

If it is successful, the development could change the lives of people living with type-one diabetes, because it could instantly tell patients about their glucose levels.

The meeting will take place at the Royal College of Physicians on November 1 and will be hosted by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
