The Scottish SPCA is seeking a new home for a family of Chihuahuas with a very close bond.

Scotland’s animal welfare charity took in the dogs when their owner could sadly no longer look after them due to ill health and they are now in the care of the Scottish SPCA’s rescue centre in Glasgow.

sadly the owner of the trio has to give up the dogs due to ill health.

Centre manager Anna O’Donnell said, “We have Chi Chi who is the mum of the group, her son Woody and then Bibi, who is not related but is just as much a part of the family.

“These dogs are so close to one another. They have lived together all their lives and even sleep in the same bed.

“Chi Chi, Woody and Bibi range from four to seven years old and were very well looked after by their previous owner.

“Anyone considering taking them on will have to factor in the costs of owning not one but three dogs, which we know is a big ask.

“These Chihuahuas aren’t big fans of stairs so ideally they’d like a home where they can have direct access to a garden.

“They need a quiet, settled home with someone who has plenty of time to spend with them and, although they’re not exactly big dogs, their new owner will need to have plenty of space.

“If anyone is interested in rehoming our charming Chihuahuas we would love to hear from them.”
