Before going to Jon's bathgate salon i read reviews concerning his edinburgh salon and upon these reviews decided to purchase a KGB voucher for myself and my daughter. Upon entering the salon the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place look new and clean putting me at ease. Becca done my hair and Jae done my daughters. I could not fault them on anything they listened to everything we asked for and explained and answered anything we ask about. I would definitely recommend them to others I enjoyed my time and have rebooked my next appointment!

I went to the Bathgate salon after reading good reviews about the Edinburgh salon, having bought a kgb deal for me & my mum. The salon was absolutely filthy! Sinks covered in dye, dirty towels, food & milk kept where they mix the colours, generally a dirty place but I'd hoped a good haircut would make up for the aesthetics of the place. I was in for a cut & colour, the girl looked at my hair for about 2 seconds and went to make up a dye without asking what I want - she came back with one colour even tho its obvious I have a few colours through my highlights. I had to stop her and ask if she was going to break it up a bit! So she then said "if you want" and mixed another colour still not asking me what I wanted..... Don't know why I bothered as I left the salon looking the same as I went in! That's 2 hours I won't be getting back. God knows how my roots were actually worse after she coloured them. Really really disappointed. Now need to book an appointment elsewhere asap as even though the cut was ok (told her only a tiny trim as I didn't trust her!) My hair looks as if the roots are worse than before I went in, shame as I had high hopes for this local salon :

I originally went to the Gorgie Road salon using a KGB voucher and had Jon do my hair. I really liked the way jon done my hair and since then have been to both his salons (the gorgie salon is hard to get an appointent at as they are so busy) The shop in addiewell is a nice shop and a good size they also have a beauty room which is good as i like having my nails done while im having my colour done. Id defineatley recomment the salons to friends and family.

This was my second time i have been to Jon McMahon which i thouroughly enjoyed,i was very pleased on both of my visits and will definatley go back. I had a KGB voucher the first time, he gave me the second visit for the same price i had paid for my voucher(£24) i would recommend this salon to family and friends. Jon is very friendly and most attentive towards customers a great experience.

Fantastic, professional & friendly staff, a lovely relaxing atmosphere, amazing treatments & all at a great price!! I highly recommend Jon McMahon Hair!

always a lovely experience going to Jon McMahon Hair, top quality treatment at affordable prices! Staff are a fantastic friendly bunch who make sure you leave feeling pampered but as though you’ve just spent time with your friends too. Cannot recommend enough!!
