Husband and I drifted in here today on a mooch around town. I had been once before and vaguely remembered quite liking it. Husband is very very fussy but agreed, as we were half-starved, to give it a try. We had 3 dishes of tapas (£15) and they were absolutely lovely. The Calamari was lovely and crispy and everything that was supposed to be hot was piping! Did think they were a wee bit stingy with the bread that came with the baked camembert but were happy to bring us more and didn't charge for it either. Inside was lovely and airy and cool and the waitress was very helpful and the service was nice and quick. Can definitely recommend here and both of us are looking forward to going back

Lovely building on George Street, friendly staff, food was okay! I had the burger but wasn't too enamoured by the bap and fillings, good for a hangover! I hate it when you get served condiments in broken/chipped crockery! They should pay more attention to detail and throw them in the bin! All and all it was fine and would recommend this place to a friend if they wanted somewhere for lunch on George Street! Probably deserves more than the three stars I gave it! p.s. someone dropped 50 pence in the milk!

Have been in here three times recently. The first two times, I was using vouchers which gave two drinks and two small plates for £5 and the third was because we had enjoyed the food so much!

The small plates were much larger than we had expected to be (especially for the £5 offer!) and are great value if you are in with a few friends. I can heartily recommend the meatballs, slow cooked duck and panko breaded chicken to name a few.

The first time, we wandered in and sat through in the main bar on the bench seats. It can get quite noisy through here though, especially if there is a group of women screeching, but it's very bright and airy. The second and third time it was a bit busier, so we were sat by a maitre'd in the small alcoves near the door and then in one of the side rooms. Again, both of these areas are bright and airy, but the alcoves don't really fit more than 3 people.

Went in to All Bar One recently during the Festival. I had good service from a very pleasant girl, the meal was average, then the bill came and the price did not match the menu. I asked why and was directed to a large wall blackboard and was told the prices had gone up and the blackboard gave the NEW prices! I couldn't see the prices on the wall without my glasses on. Why use the menues if they were out of date? Is that legal?? Hmm...don't think I'll be back.

I already had high expectations for this place having been to its sister bar in Glasgow, and I have to say it lived up to them.

This bar is big, spacious and airy with high ceilings and white walls. The bar has an extensive selection of beers and wine, and there are large tables with benches as well as more intimate tables for you to sip a class of chardonnay and enjoy the atmosphere. Nice.

I like All Bar One, its got a good selection of beers and a great selction of wines. My favourite time for popping in is on a lazy Sunday afternoon after wandering along George Street. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are always friendly and attentive, I also live the bright and airy feel of the place.

The city centre All Bar One, (there is one up Lothian Road too) is always busy! This only makes it more desirable to go to in my opinion though. The food is always great and the sharing plates are brilliant for picking whilst enjoying one of their many good bottles of red. The weekends you will find the place busting at the seems but the staff always seem to look calm and collected and the service never suffers. It is a firm favourite among me and my girls.

There are two All Bar One’s in Edinburgh. The George Street pub provides a great central place to meet and greet people. Lots of space, great range of beers on tap and wine by the glass or bottle. Food either as Tapas or larger portions, fresh tasty and unpretentious. This is the place to meet after work, a first date or with good friends.
