This is without a doubt one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh!

There is a great selection of Tapas, I think I have probably worked my way through the whole menu now and have never been disappointed.

You really do get tasty good quality food for your money and I LOVE their house white wine!

There's always a good atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming.

Highly recommended!

We recently had a a party of 77 people at Tapa on Hanover Street. Excellent food, excellent staff and a brilliant atmosphere. If they cope that well with all of us, they can cope with anything. Highly recommended

Heard on the grapevine that the food in the Leith Tapa is better so we went for lunch. Five hours later we are still stuffed! Portions are very generous and we loved it! Only slight criticism it that the olives are pitted and I prefer mine with the stones in, more herby, and not so wet with oil. Pleasant enough though. We had fried spicy chorizo, patatas bravas, spicy chicken breast in batter, meatballs in a tomato sauce and prawns pil pil and all were superb. We washed it down with some sherry (well, it is a Spanish restaurant) and had a decent coffee to finish. Best tapas since we were last in Spain and we will definitely be back – soon! A bonus is the situation. After the meal it is very pleasant to stroll along the quay sides.

Booked ahead and went about 8pm on a Friday. The place was busy and vibrant. Great staff, lovely waitress who was very attentive despite everything else going on. Fabulous food, can't recommend it enough. We had their February deal. Four dishes, plus a bottle of wine for 23 pounds. We had deep fried Archovies and baby squid, spiced chorizo sausage in a rich tomato and onion sauce and a tortilla with asparagus. Delicious.
We also had a stunning dark chocolate dessert to share and two coffees. Total 32 pounds. Totally worth it. Will be back!

We went there yesterday! such a nice experience!
we did not have reservations and the staff welcomed us anyway!

We ordered the tapas for 2 lunch offer! where you get 7 tapas!
it really tasted like real yummy spanish food! we do not eat pork and the waiter had the chef replace the stuff that had pork in it ! so that was very nice of them.

we also ordered a tapa that was Moroccan style , but it really wasn't ! i know because i am algerian! :) so i think if you are in a spanish place just order spanish food ad it will be the best.

i totally recommend it to other people and will go back there soon.

oh I LOVED the tortilla de pata! and the fried calamari was good as well :)
everything on the dish was yummy !

Tapa does what it says on the tin - Tapas and its damn good! £10.00 for 7 different selections of tapas for 2 people is absolutely fantastic and they do it from 12 - 5 fantastic!! Its plenty of food as well you wont leave hungry!

Great service, its fast, beautiful venue and the toilets are lovely big gold ornate mirrors. Its a shame its really well hidden down a side street that I've never noticed before, but its seems so popular I guess it doesn't matter really.

Love this place and I'll be going back fantastic tapas and amazing value for money!
