Not being funny but this place is full of pretentious "do you like my £900 shoes" idiots, posing with their overpriced shoes, sorry, drinks. Anyway, i smuggled in a half bottle of buckfast and poured it into my coke and spewed over some posh birds tits and got chucked out by a fat git.
I wont be back. Ill take my custom elsewhere. Your loss tigerlily.

Having really enjoyed our first visit, decided to return. Ordered one of their ‘shared’ starters which, although tasty enough, really was not worth the price, given the amount on the platter. Steaks were delicious as was my husband’s seafood broth. Service wasn’t just as good as it had been on previous visit, when all staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would certainly return but would opt for another starter (not a sharing one!)

The pink light illuminating the door let’s you know what to expect from the decor… Bright and flashy, the drink prices match.

Trendy and Welcoming something thats hard to find in modern society!

The food is not the reason to go. The place is glam, and it predominately used for Essex lookalikes.

Ok so Tigerlily has been pretty bashed here, but everyone is reviewing it as a drinks place but the restaurant is the place you want to go.
Ive been here for a drink on a number of occasions and been pretty unimpressed myself it is the sort of hair flicky, pretentious, real estate, lawyer filled place where fake tan is huge and interest in my case wanes after 10 seconds and is usually the very place I would avoid.....
HOWEVER the food here is divine, fabulous, amazing, spectacular, delish, superb, mouthwatering, fantastic, awesome, fabulous!
Ive been here for birthdays, Christmas lunches, work dinners on a number of occasions over the last 2 years and I have never found fault with anything! For my husbands birthday lunch of just me and him they even created a birthday cocktail for him which was gorge!
The decor is beautiful, the restaurant staff very attentitive and efficient, the prices are a normal restaurants prices not actually that expensive and did I mention the quality of the food yet?
Ive sent friends here for special occasions when they wanted to take family somewhere nice or wanted to go out for a birthday or event and they have all said the same. I particularly recommend the chocolate fondue it is spectacularly tremendous - Not just fruit to dip in I am actually talking profiteroles - yes profiteroles to dip IN the chocolate fondue - Absolute genius!!

When I think of Tigerlilly the following words come to mind; expensive, pretentious, cocktails, glitzy, shiny, pretty, and noisy. Basically, it’s not for everyone. I was taken here for a congratulatory drink and being that bit fancy, it made the drink (a delicious cocktail) that bit more special. I would go back again, maybe for a pre-dinner cocktail if I found myself in the area and it wasn’t too busy however I’d find it too expensive and pretentious to stay any longer.

Tigerlily is quintessential George Street material; be prepared to get knocked back if your shoes aren't smart enough, or if you're with a group of men. The drinks here are ridiculously overpriced, though the cocktails are worth it; the Jack Russian comes highly recommended, if you can it through the gauntlet of being allowed in by looking as though you have money.
The equally pretentious club Lulu is located downstairs for those who like that sort of thing.

This place was the icing on the cake for our weekend break in Edinburgh. We treated ourselves to a room for a couple of nights and loved it! The room was very nicely furnished, comfy bed, plasma tv, ipod in the room, wooden floors, only grumble was the shower room - big enough for a bath but a piddly little shower that only could stand under. The place was extremely cool but didnt feel pretentious, just made us feel special. Love the disco ball in the stairwell, nice touch.
