This company is now based in newington road edinburgh. I lived in one of their propertys and have recently left. Jane aitken the manager is witholding my deposit saying I left bills and the property in a state which is untrue. They do not put your deposit in a deposit scheme which is now law. I am having to raise a small claims action against them to get my deposit back but will be claiming 3 x back as I am within my rights to because they failed to abide by the law. I have also alerted landlord registration about this company as they are very un professional, rude and a terrible company. My advice is to avoid at all costs, they will tell you what you want to hear to get your money and to sign into a lease then they will rip you off. They should be shut down!!

They are fraud … Please keep your deposit receipts. When you will be leaving the flat, they will say that you never given the deposit and try to eat that money. If you do not have receipt of deposit then you are screwed … When they tried to eat my deposit as i lost my receipts thinking that they will not do such a cheap thing, I contacted Edinburgh council and they said that they are most bad reputed agents in Edinburgh. Then they advised me to contact Citizen Advice Bereau and they advised me to drag them to small claims court … I got my deposit back but it was not full as they said that flat was dirty and they charged me £120 for that … Flat was clean when I left … I asked them to show me receipts but they said they will show today or tomorrow … at the end i had to say you keep this … still they eaten £120 ….

My daughter is a student at the Uni and unfortunately stumbled onto this letting agency. They are incompetent and horrible. There was no part of the experience with this agency that was positive.

I can't select "no stars", and CPM is unworthy of even one star.
Appalling "agency". Avoid at all costs. Totally dysfunctional.
