If you like lebanese food try here. If I am in the area at lunch-time I swear my feet carry me here by themselves. On my first visit I had the mixed mezze which was really tasty but on the second visit I tried a shawarma wrap which I loved so much that I keep re-ordering on subsequent visits! The marinated chicken or lamb comes in a fresh griddled flatbread with a chilli and garlic dip, plus a yogurt based dip and salad. You can also get this loose on a platter and order one of their lovely fresh baked naan if you are a DIY type. This is a complete meal so I usually wash it down with a long cool glass of Masaw, a traditional yogurt drink which I first tried out of curiousity and to which I seem to have become addicted. You have to visit. Never been in the evening but at lunch-time it is a peaceful oasis.

After a trip to Turkey and becoming infatuated with Middle Eastern food, My boyfriend and I went to Pomegranate to try out their mezze. The delicious flavours worked really well together and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I wouldn't say it was particularly cheap but reasonable for the quality of the food. The vibe was quite funky and it got really busy to the extent of getting a bit rowdy..if you're looking for something a little more romantic, come on a quiet weekday. I would definitely recommend this place, book ahead as it gets busy at the weekend.
