I was at a retreat at the 16th of December 2011 and i was lucky to get in to a small group and it was lovely.

It was a shame that we could not take a longer walk but even the locals told us not to go up the mountain.

Aswel i did have one complaint about the hotel had children running around slamming the doors really late.

The food was great and i got surprised how nice food you can have and still be eat healthy even desert.

I'm going to Sensation fitness new place in Pitlochary i think it is in October. I have put some weight back on again but when i spoke with Shirley on the phone she told me she would give me some tips for when i get back home after the retreat to progress with my weight loss.

See you in October again.

Thanks Shirley and Marco

Me and my friends have bin with Sensation Fitness doing boot camp classes now for 2 months and love it.
I'm getting a bit surprised reading the comments Marco and Shirley have always bin polite and never canceled last second without a reason. Marco even ran a class with me alone once when it was raining a lot he insisted that we should do it even thou i told him its okay its just me.
Me and my 3 Friends are going to there luxury retreat in Pitlochary in November and i cant wait im so exited.
Thank you Marco and Shirley see you on monday x

no stars.......but I had to give one - I had a lucky escape - after buying a 3 day boot camp at Crianlarich - I booked the date, arranged for my animals and my business to be looked after during my absence - only to have the date cancelled........not their fault (as stated in other comments above) Long story short.....very rude, did not respond to emails or letters (returned 'not known at this address')   Extremely unprofessional in every aspect even just in the initial stages of trying to book and re-book!  I had paid with my credit card to KGB Deals and i managed to get my money back - I also lodged a complaint with trading standards.  AVOID this company!

So pleased to have found these reviews....glad I`ve had a lucky escape, reported them to trading standards for a full refund.Tried to book 3 times and each time when i contacted for details as they hadn`t bothered to get back to me ,i got excuse after excuse as to why it was cancelled. They didn`t supply the service advertised within the timescale of voucher...always someone elses fault not theirs!

Fantastic service, advice and results! Shirley sorted out my running injury as well as giving me some ongoing tips on how to stay injury free. I would recommend her services 100%! There is nothing she does not know about in this field!
I was asked by Shirley and Marco to post on qype and Im happy to do it because me and my friend had a great experience.
The only let down was the accomodation and the food quality and portion sizes but Marco and Shirley explained that this was the first time this had happened and they are not working with the Crianlarich hotel any longer.
Five stars for Sensation fitness, one star for the hotel for the overall experience at the venue.

I attended the 16th December retreat. I was lucky to get into a smaller camp and felt that we all got individual attention. This was exactly what i needed befor christmas :) Thank you so much Marco and Shirley. Im hoping to come to one of your new weeklong retreats.

I sent a letter of complaint to Sensation Fitness in Edinburgh to the address found at Companies House not the dormant company in Perth the live company in Edinburgh. This was returned to me as not known.
My complaint was with regard to the fitness retreat I attended on 10-12 Feb. I booked to stay in a 3 star hotel and the accommodation we stayed in was a youth hostel . The quality is not like for like. As all the other reviews I found the customer service very very poor.

All as the above comments re. the weekend of 10-12th Feb. Not a ‘3 day retreat’, not ‘luxary’, no ‘personal diet plan, no ’snacks’, no ‘hotel accommodation’ and definitely no customer service! After that experience I think I should go self-employed and offer my own retreats as I’m pretty sure I could do a better job and have more knowledge than them. I can’t understand the positive feedback left in November as I can think of nothing positive to say. There wasn’t even a welcome drink i.e. tea, coffee or even herbal tea, on arrival.

Very poor. Save your money – I wish I had.

An extremely disappointing weekend with Sensation Fitness on the weekend of 10th-12th February 2012.

E-mail less than 24 hours before check-in stating we’d be staying at the Crianlarich Youth Hostel, not the hotel. No indication or word of refund or rebate. Stayed in bunk beds in a dorm with shared, cold showers.

Fitness classes were circuit after circuit after circuit in a children’s playground, which continued despite young children trying to use the playground, and despite a neighbour’s complaint early on Sunday morning about the noise! We were also taken up the same hill… 7, 8 times? Once of the trainers actually admitted that this was to “burn time”. The problem with doing the same circuits all weekend was that we were isolating the same muscle groups and using them over and over again – the injuries we were suffering by the end of the weekend were numerous.

Nutrition chat was…non-existant. 3-4 minutes of Q&A in which the trainers contradicted themselves and gave inaccurate information. Body stats didn’t really get done, and the trainers mostly looked at Facebook on their phones when they were supposed to be doing this.

In my opinion, this company are shockingly unprofessional. Despite our complaints being forwarded to them, we have received no actual replies to our concerns. Unfortunately, a number of us are planning to take legal action to get our money back if this continues.

I would really suggest that you stay well clear of this company. Save your £199+ and go for a few walks and to a couple of classes at your local gym. I sorely wish I had done that.
