My friend and I recently ordered a Pad Thai and a Singapore fried rice from this place. On hindsight, I should have known better than to order from a restaurant that claims to do two genres of food successfully. It was far from successful.
I've been to Thailand and know what a great Pad Thai tastes like. It should be fresh, with crunchy beansprouts and delicate spice, wrapped with a satisfying eggy blanket.
What I got from "So Good" was a tub of overspiced, luminous red noodley slop. I don't know how it's even possible to make a pad thai red, I'm assuming a bottle of sweet chilli sauce got tipped in for good measure.
My friends Singapore fried rice wasn't much better. It had the both the appearance, appeal and taste of a plate of sawdust. The only condolonce was that there was plenty of it, which wasn't exactly an advantage.
Verdict: Not even so-so, so avoid at all costs.

Chanced upon this place last night and am very pleased to have done so. My Thai spicy & sweet chilli chicken with boiled rice was fantastically tasty with very well proportioned pieces of chicken. Clearly cooked & not just nuked I'd happily get food from here again.

Excellent food every time, cannot complain about their service. Also, heard about the below incident with the theft of the door ornament, what isn't said here is the delivery guy returned the ornament to be assaulted by its owner! So good are one of the best Chinese takeaways in the area and would highly recommend it.

I have been ordering food from So Good for about two years now, and I can honestly say that I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have taken advantage of the delivery service and also per-ordered for collection and have always had piping hot food. The service is always pleasant and personal which I really like. However, more importantly, the food is fantastic! Well done guys!
I am disappointed to read the below review; I hope the management have dealt with this serious issue.

i'm regular customer from so good ，i been get food when they first open .every time I got delivery food was piping hot，driver was friendly .the food it's amazing .please try this takeaway.

Neighbor just had a delivery, hope they enjoyed their food. Delivery guy stole my front door ornament…..NOT so good…..especially as i live in a secure block of flats with buzz entry, good job he was seen by several tenants…..AVOID THIS THIEVING COMPANY

I have never had such a disappointing take away experience. Not only was the food 2 hours in coming, it was cold, and had spilt everywhere. No apology for the delay, no "complimentary" (and really quite necessary to cover the awful tastes) sauces.
I think this is a case of misleading advertising. So Bad would be much more appropriate. Sorry folks.

It is not easy to find a good Chinese takeaway in the city, although their number grows like mushrooms n a rainy season. I have always been amazed at the way owners of such small businesses choose the names of their takeaways. Another good thing about takeaways is they are almost 24/7 open, So Good is open 7 days per week, starting from 4 am until 11pm. The place prepares spicy, mild spicy and non-spicy meals. It has a good range of curries, Thai specials and a couple of good offers for vegetarians. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good.
