Went in to get some passport photos for my daughter. The person obviously had no idea how to take a picture of a child, made no effort to get her to cooperate and was quite clearly uninterestes in the whole thing. When I said we were going to leave the assistant looked quite happy. Clearly could not be bothered. Very unprofessional.

A fair sized store with plenty in stock. Nice selection of products including some really esoteric accessories, knowledgable staff. Feels like it's trying to be an Apple Store though.

really knowledgeable staff - they were so good at advising us on the pro's and cons of all the cameras that we were looking at. You very rarely these days get that sort of service and we selected based on their advice.

I ordered two items online and had them for collection the next day at this store. due to an error in their computers one of the items was not in stock however they did have a cheaper option in store. The next morning they called me up to explain the situation, they offered me the cheaper option or they could get me the original product when they get the next delivery. I chose the cheaper option as I wanted to use it the next day. when i went to pick up my products they said that if i didnt like the product i could bring it back in and they would replace it with the original product. I was very happy with their service and always go back there for all my camera needs.
Only complaint i would have is that they could probably fit more produce in the store.

Jessops can’t afford to refund my £1199.99. Must be going down the tubes!

FIRE RISK LAPTOP - I bought a Fujitsu Siemans laptop £1199.99 from Jessops. It was always faulty. I received shoddy servicing from Fujitsu Siemans on 3 occasions. The laptop burned out after the 3rd. The laptop was damaged due to an error in the 2nd service, and returned to me after further servicing, posing a fire risk in my home. Jessops said it should have been a third party sale, delivered to my home and not the shop. Jessops letter… average lifespan of a laptop 60 months, divide £1199.99 by 60 = £19.99×26 months usage = £520.00 = partial refund of £679.99. Laptop to be collected, then payment by cheque. I contacted Barclaycard for a refund of £1199.99 since I have Fujitsu Siemans 3 service reports, and an independent PC engineers report stating the motherboard was always faulty. Components were replaced , on each service, the laptop was further damaged due to their error on the 2nd service, damaged components changed again, then the laptop was returned to me, posing a fire risk in my home. The Laptop involved Fujitsu Siemans AMILO M3438G / BU M3438G/ PM 760. Jessops No 1 in Photography. Not No 1 for customer service. The media contacted Jessops about my case. Jessops wrote to them immediately stating my £1199.99 refund would be sent to me. Well no refund one month later, so special offer for Jessops free media coverage, enjoy.

I recently bought my first camcorder here and was very impressed by the overall service I received.
I did not have a clue what I was looking for and the guy I dealt with, Chris, was extremely helpful and explained patiently about all the different kinds and answered all my many questions, once I had made my choice he even kept it on hold for a couple of days for me until i had the money.
The prices and offers were excellent, i got £20 off my order.
A very happy customer, i would recommend going here instead of trying the net and probably ending up with the wrong thing!
