Was recommended to go here by a friend!! Initially booked in for gel nails! (Amazing.. They are still all on) was delighted when I arrived as they managed to squeeze me in for a shellac pedicure too!! The salon has a lovely friendly atmosphere, the service was very attentive !! Was a huge team effort for fitting me in for my pedicure too! I don't live in Edinburgh but wish I did!! The nails are the best I've had by far! Wish you every success in your booming business Eve & all the lovely ladies there too!! Gabriella xx

I have been going to all about eve for the last year and I love it. All the girls are very friendly and I always feel welcome. My nails are amazing and last 3 weeks before I get them infilled with the gel. My shellac on my toes has been on 7 weeks this time!!! Yay. Started getting my threading done and it's great.

I've been into All About Eve a few times now. The first two experiences were good. Dominique did my facials and was very professional and personable - one of those people who are naturals. Today, however, was a disappointment. However the general attitude and vibe seems to have changed from earlier in the year. I had to cancel my first booking and they couldn't fit me in for another month or so but I had been advised that I could use the gift voucher given to me by my husband as an anniversary present. I arrived today and waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgement nor apology. The Receptionist looked like she didn't want to be there. The beautician was fine, and technically very good, but initially fired a bunch of questions at me that she obviously hadn't thought through. Perhaps she was trying to make up time. When paying at the end the lady who I assume was the manager abruptly said it wasn't possible to use the £6 difference between the cost of the facial and the value of the card on products. It's not so much waiting, or the policy on gift cards, it was the arrogant and rude delivery of it all. It's such a shame because I would like to support local businesses. But quite frankly I felt bad that my husband had treated me and I came away with a mixed experience. Great for them if they've enough business to not have to be concerned with courtesies, but I also have a choice and on this occasion I'll be voting with my feet.

Had my nails done here lots – they are great. Getting Gel extentions is so much better than acrylics and they look natural and fabulous
Have also had a few with Amy the beauty therapist as well – she gets my eyebrows exactly how I like them without too much pain either which is a bonus

It's good to have places like this on my doorstep, but it could do a bit better. I've had many manicures in here, and I think the quality of them is very much down to who you get doing them.
