THORNTON Peter (Dalkeith) Peacefully, on Thursday, August 2, 2012, surrounded by his family, at Liberton Hospital, Peter (retired Edinburgh City Police), dearly beloved husband of the late Jean, devoted dad to Ann, Ernie and Alice, cherished grandad to Sara Jane, Wendy, Amanda, Samantha, Daniel and the late Paul, great-grandad to Aidan, Callum, Adam and Anna. A service will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium Pentland Chapel, on Wednesday, August 8, at 11.30 am. To which all family and friends are welcome. Family flowers only.
