James Edward (Ed) Birrell : Obituary

BIRRELL James Edward (Ed) (Edinburgh and Sidcup) Ed died peacefully in the early hours of Monday, June 18, 2012, in Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice, London, with his partner, Mill(ie), at his side. Friend and husband of the late Grace, dad of Gail and Greig, dad-in-law of Stuart, grandad of Ross, Scott, Aimee and Megan. Grief will pass but fond memories of a special person will remain. Rest in peace, Ed. The funeral service, to which all friends and family are invited, will be held in the Main Chapel, Mortonhall Crematorium at 2 pm, on Friday, June 29. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, to Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice and Cancer Research UK.
