Teacher makes final push in barefoot trek

A TEACHER who is walking barefoot to London to raise funds and awareness of human rights abuses in Burma is set to arrive on Monday.
Ewen Hardie, a teacher at Drummond Community High School, will deliver a petition to 10 Downing Street at around noon.

He has covered around 15 miles a day since he set off from the school on June 25.

So far Mr Hardie has raised more than £1700 for the Burma Educational Scholarship Trust.
